Cardiff Uni Law Building

The Math Building must be in a completely different section of Cathays than the rest of the main buildings on this list, as it looks so bad. He has all the personality of a mathematics student. very little and takes up much more space than necessary. It is not surprising that the mathematics building is being moved because it is a crime that something boring and soulless is allowed to teach. It`s no wonder that math students are considered so boring. If I were to study in something so lifeless and boring, I would lose all personality myself. I scoured the university to find the ugliest university building Cardiff has to offer so you don`t have to. In the end, vote for which you categorically think it`s the worst. If you walk down Corbett Road towards Bute Park, you would mistakenly think you came across a prison block. Don`t worry, it`s just redwood, also known as the pharmacy building. While Redwood isn`t the worst offender on this list, he still looks pretty terrible. With all the beauty of a city of detention, it is no wonder that this horror is hidden behind a mass of trees. Even if the university is functional, you rarely see a pharmacy student; I don`t blame them tbh.

If Redwood was my building, I don`t think I want to go to college. There are 62 bicycle parking spaces that share three locations around the building. Better known as the Psychology Building, the Tower Building stands above the Cardiff University campus like a stain on a student`s mattress. The building stands high and depicts a psychology student who is proud to tell you that he is studying a STEM subject. This hideous building is aptly named «the tower» because the person who designed it should be imprisoned. Why did you decide to come to Cardiff University? Rugby, the square, the nightlife? Most likely, it wasn`t because of the beauty of the buildings. With a name straight out of an Indiana Jones movie built in 1937 just before World War 2, the Temple of Peace is a confusing building. In the middle of the magnificent buildings bute and Glamorgan, the Temple of Peace seems a little out of place. Neither beautiful nor ugly, the Temple of Peace is like a student of mathematics. painfully average.

While the Tower Building acts as a metaphorical stain on Cardiff University, the exterior of the Law Building is covered with limestone coloured by Cardiff`s constant rainwater. Law Building is, in my opinion, a leading competitor for Cardiff University`s ugliest building, and just like the law students themselves, it takes up much more space than it needs. It doesn`t have to be for the Law Building to absorb so much Park Place, especially when it looks so shitty. The Sir Martin Evans building, better known as the Biomed Building, may seem like a good aside with the addition of these multi-colored hexagons and glass panels, but when you walk to the back of the building is the real horror. The Sir Martin Evans, who looks like the unholy child of an abandoned building and a disused parking lot, is as beautiful as the queues for Juice are short. With all the grace and decency of a parking garage, the SSA is one of the most monstrously ugly buildings the university has to offer. It`s no surprise that you have to walk into a door to get a full frontal view of this obscene horror. The SSA is to Cardiff what psychology is to STEM, everyone accepts that it is there, but no one really respects it. Going to the ASSL for its beauty is like going to the university halls because it`s close to the university, you just don`t do it.
