Here at Empire College School of Law, students do more than just memorize legal theory – they learn how to apply it. Our Elder Law Clinic was one of the first of its kind, and the practical experience it and our five other clinics offer our students has allowed them to win in several national Traynor moot court competitions. Free legal advice for qualified individuals in the fields: The Family Law Clinic supports self-represented litigants, 70-80% of all family law cases, in the preparation of arguments and legal documents for the family law court. Parties receive much-needed help on issues such as divorce, injunctions, and custody issues, and students gain hands-on experience in this optional course.
